Tokegypt, 9mm Semi Auto Made in China Model 213.
As can be seen by the inset photo the barrels and chambers are all chrome plated. It has a plastic wrap around grip stock, instead of the Tokerev ‘bakelite’ and a finger piece type floor plate on the magazine, which improves your chances of quickly getting it out and getting another one in after someone has rammed one in covered in mud. The M 213 Chinese version of this also has a chrome plated barrel shown in the above photograph. These are brand new unfired but have the usual scratch marks and rough corners as shown in the photographs. As standard the barrels are a millimetre short for club licences so are fitted with a slightly longer barrel. The steel is excellent and once a few surfaces, such as slides, are polished they are a slick an easy pointing pistol. Eight rounds in the magazine.$369. each $700 for two. plus registered post and appropriate licences. If you want to order by mail Phone 07 54825070 have your card detail handy . Thoughts for the Week.
These thoughts are not good news, or bad news, they are just as it is, and as it has always been. They are not happy thoughts, or depressive thoughts, just thoughts that express our current situation. A situation that at some times looks better, but due to our collective thought patterns and media training never really change. Well not yet, but assessing our collective pattern, unless it gets so bad that our stomachs are stuck to our backbones, or all out invasion, apathy will always reign against us.
As a student of elections, being involved in elective struggles since I was about ten years old, many people would put me down as a slow learner, but in reality I must be an eternal optimist. I once got it right and the local masses even elected me to local council. An independent. I have handed out, put signs up studied election results for over half a century and I have now the same conclusion as I did twenty years ago, the only reason I keep getting involved, is I believe that just once, it may change in my lifetime.
It is not just that in our local division council election that out of 4000 voters on the electoral role, about a 1000 protested that they were voting under duress, as they did not want to be fined, another 1000 did not turn up to vote at all. Quite a few customers I know purposefully keep themselves off the voting register so they do not get fined. Again, it is not just the knowledge that in the last federal election more people decided not to vote, to either get struck off the roll, vote informal or not turn up at all, risking a fine than voted for the ruling Labour Party. That is sad enough, knowing that good men fought and devoted their life’s work to win the right to vote for all but what really bugs me is that our brothers and sister fellow sufferers, ‘Do Not’ think, Do Not make choices on issues or the individual person, they continue in the majority to vote for which party their grandparents voted for, or if the candidate has nice teeth, or they have been in office for years, as don’t make a change that could be dangerous.
We are all please to see Anna Bligh go, we are all desperately waiting for the day when we can get rid of Anna’s sister in crime the red headed harlot in Canberra, but I have questioned customers as to their choice in voting. In the state elections I asked customers and shooters, ‘why were you handing out how to vote cards for the LNP,’ Why do you brag about voting for the LNP, they voted with Labour to give you another set of Gun Laws on November the 15th, Why vote for the LNP when they brought John Howard’s Un-informed Gun laws down on your head?
Why work for your enemy. Some bleated well we just wanted to get rid of Anna. Well that would have worked just as good, if you had voted for an independent or the Australia Party is my response. Why donate $4.00 for your vote to their party funds? It gets even worse, during the local elections I observed shooters handing out how to vote cards for un-officially the LNP (not supposed to be party politics in local elections but scratch the surface a little and it bleeds party politics) Worse than that when the ‘arty farty’ un official Labour hand outers were missing the LNP hand outers would hand out for both their candidates to oppose independent candidates. I asked some customers why they voted one way or another, some of the responses were almost from a TV comedy script we would laugh, but it is so sad. “I voted for X, because I did not know who he was, I knew the other three.” “Oh I voted for Meredith, I wanted to vote for a ‘sheila’,” “Meredith was his second name you voted for a bloke anyway.” I said. ” I wanted to vote for the Sheila in the red shirt”. Nothing about what the people stood for, or Rates or roads.
By about this time, your going to be saying, what’s this to do with us shooters. Well this Apathy has everything to do with how out sport, our hobby our way of life is treated by those we install as our masters. Our American cousins have a voting impact, they have hundreds of freedoms that we have already forgotten exist, due to the simple fact that in their country, shooters will vote with an issue. Not only that, they will mobilise and phone up and lobby their representatives and because they vote to protect their property, their rights and freedoms, they win. They win because they think before they vote. They lobby their candidates prior to the election not just moan in the local Gun Shop. The American’s send out lists of questions and then they vote on the answers, which results in voting, into office, pro-shooting candidates. It is not that they are a huge majority or that they are in one club, both of those premises are incorrect. There majority is similar to ours, and there are many hundreds of different shooting clubs and shooting lobby associations in the USA. The difference is, they make there votes count for them. In Australia and the UK we do not, we get easily sidetracked into debate on irrelevancy like the Prime Minister lost her slipper. In more ways than one.
John Howard in 1996 had a large majority when he decided to strike at firearm ownership he knew well, what I have just told you above. He had utter contempt for shooters and showed it. He knew that the shooters would still install him or his opposition, that he still would be in government, even if they were not in office. Campbell Newman is going to introduce another new lot of Gun laws. As usual, they always promise that they will not harm the lawful firearm owner but will only impact on the criminal elements. He talks of amnesties and we all know that he does not even believe it himself, everyone knows, it is just feel good politics. It will not change anything, the crims will never hand their guns in, the Police will still sell their issue pistols, or supposedly lose them, or purportedly have them stolen and the only impact will be on the law abiding shooter. Campbell Newman now knows that the 255,000 licensed shooter in Queensland are not going to vote for independents or the Australia Party at the next election. We have given him the largest majority ever held in parliament, he knows he can treat us all like serfs, bonded slaves who will all vote without considering freedom, rights, ownership of property, or self defence. Yes, and when his new rules of legislation do not work, as they never do, he will go and produce another set of feels good legislation. Meanwhile, their Goebbels propaganda machine will keep the public mesmerised in ‘man bites dog’, or ‘wag the dog’ scenarios to keep the people thinking of only trivia. We used to be free. 1984 was it science fiction??
ACCURATE FIREARM DESIGN
More on Stock Fit and Bedding.
Our major firearm manufactures chose the dimensions, style, shape, and weight of rifle stocks which have proved best for the vast majority of shooters over the last fifty years. They are very conservative, and believe that when a rifle stock is to be produced in quantity it should adhere as closely as possible to the standard specifications that they all follow. Except for stocks that they produce for what we used to call ‘boys’ rifles’, which these days we told we should not be sexist’s and should choose another name, but fair Juliet herself said,
“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”
And so to are stock dimensions ‘ sweet’. They should not be altered or changed without much thought and planning.
All stocks while they must differ considerably in shape, materials and dimensions, should be designed with as close adherence to the principles which led up to the development of these “standard size” stocks as possible.
Occasionally we find a man who is not well fitted with these standard stocks. A short, “chunky” man with short and muscular arms will require a shorter stock, perhaps one as short as 12 ½ inches. A very tall man, over 6′ 4″, particularly if he has long arms, may require a longer stock, even as long as 14 ½ inches. If he also has a very long neck and sloping shoulders he may require more drop at the heel, perhaps as much as 3 ½ inches. Generally speaking, however, it is almost always a mistake to alter a stock from the standards, or to have a stock built of special dimensions until a shooter has had a lot of experience in target or practice shooting and has been thoroughly trained to assume the standard firing positions. He can then prescribe for himself the alterations which will surely be of benefit to him. No one else can do it for him It is also a bad mistake to take the dimensions of a well fitting shotgun stock as any indication of what the dimensions of a rifle stock should be. They are very different designs to produce totally different results. Many experienced shooters who have never been coached correctly make the huge mistake of taking the stance that they see in the movies and place the butt of the rifle on their shoulder bone, then kink there necks to the side, placing their right cheek bone firmly on the comb, this forces the eye’s iris to be in the inside corner of the socket for sighting purposes. I make myself up popular every day pointing this out to shooters, who are sometimes embarrassed in front of their friends who many know even less, but think they know everything. I lecture them on stance, I tell them that God made us humans with a hollow, that is formed by elevating the elbow, between the neck and the shoulder bone and this is where the butt sits. I point out to them that then they do not have to kink the neck, now there face and eye line up directly with the sight and that there iris is in the middle of the eye socket getting it’s maximum light gathering ability. The mind and body can then devote all of its concentration into the target. That concentration is made easier as the body is not fatigued, it is comfortable and can absorb the recoil with the minimum of fuss. Stocks for women should depart from the above standard dimensions only after most careful study and experiment, although more often with ladies than men, unless rather tall, they will require a shorter stock than will a man. Remember in BIG letters, before taking out the saw. Short, light stocks with much drop always accentuate the recoil. Stocks for very youths of small stature should of course be very much smaller than the standard, but they will probably outgrow those small stocks in a year or two at most. Youths of 13 years and older generally can use standard stocks.
An experienced stocker can make a special stock of any dimension desired, carving and inletting it from the walnut blank. If he is experienced, and skilled and honest enough to do the work as it should be done it will take him about a week’s time to make such a stock, and such an artisans time is worth $30 dollars an hour and the rest, so such stocks are expensive. If he is not experienced and honest, he will almost surely make a poor job of the bedding, and the rifle will never shoot accurately and reliably in his stock, so have much thought before discarding the standard stock.

“It’s a week since I received a copy of “Range Officers Hand Book” and since that time I am nearly at the half way mark. I’m amazed at the at the number of subjects you have covered making it one of the most informative books to be added to my collection. It must have taken you a considerable amount of time and experience to publish the book with information not available in other popular Gunsmith manuals. I would recommend the book to “Range Officers” and anyone interested in the sport of target shooting and hunting.” Regards Gene M Cornford P.O.Box 288, Kaeo 0448 N.Z. Manufacturing Shotshell primers is a very similar operation to the previously discussed process of manufacturing large and small rifle and pistol primers. Up until the foiling process. Instead at that point, anvils are placed in the battery cups, and the caps are seated in the cup to the required depth and pressure on the anvil.
The height from which the ball must be dropped to fire all the primers of a sample is determined; then the height to fire 50 per cent; then the height at which none will fire. From this a measure of sensitivity is determined to learn if the primers will be ignited in most guns but yet are not so sensitive as to be dangerous. Unusual variations or erratic behaviour will also be discovered. The all fire/none fire spread must not be too great, and the none fire height must be enough to indicate the primers won’t be subject to inadvertent ignition by floating firing pins, priming tools, etc.
Every production lot of primers must be so tested before it can be released for ammunition factory use or sale to handloaders. Modern primers withstand storage well. Unless exposed to extremes of humidity and temperature, they remain perfectly serviceable for twenty years or more.
Yes, the primer is the spark plug of any cartridge and as such, deserves special attention, especially those safety points mentioned in this and previous editions on ‘Priming’

HOW THE ELECTRONIC EAR MUFFS WORK
These electronic ear muffs are a high standard ear muff in design, they are made to feel light and comfortable for all day use. They can be used as standard ear muff when the electronic component is not turned on and will passively reduce noise like any normal ear muff. They have a standard noise reduction rating of 29 decibel and are a Class 5.
Once turned on the microphone, located at the top of the ear muff, will pick up and amplify ambient noise. If some one standing next to you talks, their voice will be amplified through the speakers in both ear muffs. Should there be a loud noise, such as a firearm, the electronic ear muffs will automatically cut out and block the loud noise. The electronic ear muffs are designed to attenuate noise about 85 decibels, meaning that they will block out instantly, once the noise reaches a certain level. The electronic ear muffs allow you to control the volume level of ambient noise around you. On the shooting range with constant loud reports, the electronic ear muffs will block this noise. For range instructions or to communicate with another person, you can instantly hear them speak.
At the range or anywhere ear protection is constantly required, but you also need to hear instructions from others or you wish to be more aware of the ambient sound around you, these electronic ear muffs are what you need.
