Due to Prudent buyers stocking up, knowing that with the suspension of firearm and ammunition manufacturing world wide, and the emptying of the USA Gun Shops all our stock will be very hard to get in the future. Our Mountain of Firearms and Ammunition was reduced to 20% of normal holdings. Since then we have restocked with another mountain of ammo in all calibre’s but with different lines due to the importers running out of stock and nothing much expected to come into their warehouses (ie. Winchester Australia ran out of most lines of .22 ammo six weeks ago, but we should have a few pallets coming in this week) . So please phone 07 54 824099, or 07 54 825070 or 07 54 824718 for prices and availability.
The Staff of Owen Guns would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Happy New Year. If you are traveling, keep safe and call in. Thoughts For The Week.
There are a lot of issues to think about this week. Firstly, As I mentioned in the last Bulletin the world is on the brink, and no matter what you read in the media the USA Election of November the 3rd is not decided as yet.
All Media channels have Biden as winning, but as the Americans say, “Its not over till the Fat Lady Sings”. Either way its decided will mean trouble and hardship. If Biden with his Media support wins, the economy of the USA and its power base will give way to China. China will make a play for Taiwan and the USA with Biden in command will not oppose his Chinese financial backers.
Once Taiwan is out the way, Australia will be under the shadow of China’s boot with even less chance of intervention and assistance from the USA.
If Trump wins, with his support from the Supreme Court or the Military the Socialist left will fill the cities and make a huge mess. 67% of voters on the USA believe that there was fraud and corruption in this election. Just on the basis of that alone, if nothing is sorted out after this democracy has failed, Who will have confidence again in any election? We always remember that Stalin said, “Its not who votes that Count its who Counts the votes that Count.” and for anyone who wants to read the lists of evidence, it is very compelling, but hard to imagine how the Mainstream media could be overturned. Revolutionary as they hold all the power, not the people.
This might not be sorted out until March 2021.
I do not socialise very much. I am lucky that six days a week I listen to what is said across the counter at Owen Guns, and as I am a Justice of the Peace lots of none shooters visit me asking me to witness there paperwork so get to speak to a large cross section of our Gympie Community. I also (rarely) go to weddings, barbeques and parties where I am not known to those attending. Yes I know I have been called a conspiracy theorist, but I repeat what I have read and give the references to where I find it, and in this Bulletin give my humble opinions. At functions I say nothing on these subjects at all, unless asked. Yet, when I listen to groups of men and women talking, the conversation generally swings around at some point to one, or more of the famous conspiracies and thank goodness we still have the freedom to openly discuss them.
The 9/11 building Seven (which did not receive a plane impact, but imploded) gets the most support, yet most believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was “Not” the lone gunman that shot John F Kennedy. Nearly everyone has doubts on what we are told about Port Arthur and Martin Bryant. These days there is no resistance to the once theory that the Banks create money on a digital computer keyboard, people used to say “ Create it out of thin air”, but its established now, they do not just lend out other peoples savings and make a little on the side out of the interest they get it for nothing and screw us all in the process.
So if in one instance we believe that our government and mainstream media conspire to cover up the reality of a situation or event on what basis can we believe any of the information that is fed to us from the same sources?
The Port Arthur Massacre will be in the news again as they are making a movie about it, no matter if it takes the government/media view, or the alternative it will again re sensationalise the events. We have been led to believe that an intellectually-impaired invalid with an IQ of 66 and severely limited cognitive functions, who could never pass a driving test, or even plan a meal for three planned the purchase of firearms with a fake licence, gave an anonymous telephone call to lure the two local policemen away for four hours over a jar of soap powder, then went surfing, (forgot his board wax, forgot his swimming shorts forgot his towel) then drove to Port Arthur and turned into a special forces trained gunman that killed twenty and wounded another twelve with a total of 29 rounds. He then stopped firing and changed magazines in a most professional way. The magazine fitted to the AR15 held 30 rounds total, so by changing magazines after firing only 29 shots the gunman ensured that he still had a live round in the breech. In the official report they claim he did this in 90 seconds. There is no hard evidence, of the AR15 that they supposedly found burnt at Seascape. In 1997 I wrote a critique of Sgt Duttons Ballistic report exposing that within that report in reality there was no evidence of the burnt firearms attributed to Martin which were found in the burnt remains at Seascape being used at Port Arthur. Actually no physical evidence that he was there at all. The wikileaks transcript of the Police interview shows the mental level of Martin and how the interviewers with hours and days to work on him got him to a state of admissions for a feed of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Read for yourselves https://wikileaks.org/wiki/Martin_Bryant_complete_interview
Put that together with the knowledge of government use of “Patsy” such as Lee Harvey Oswald, or as Hitlers government alleged that Van der Lubbe was a “half-wit” “mentally disturbed” communist that had set the Reichstag on fire and again “acted alone”. We are always led to believe that it was merely a stroke of good luck for the Nazis, or Gun Control Australia, John Crook, Rebecca Peters, Samantha Lee, Darryl Smeaton, and John Howard, that suited their specific agenda. The right place, the right time for them, but took the innocent people lives and made innocent firearm owners guilty of owning lawful property.
That one incident placed massive powers in the hands and heads of our politicians, police and media and really we all have allowed them to get away with the theft of our rights and freedoms and the rights and freedoms of our following generations.
The Worst Is Yet To Come.
Over the last few years the rogue’s in Weapons Licencing have been knocking back licence renewals and applications using the excuse that a person has had too many speeding tickets, or that 30 years ago they had a drug charge. Keep it in mind that Members of Parliament, Public Servants, including Police men and women, those people who are in a class set above us to control us, can have no discrimination to their positions for convictions of crimes after 5 years. From the serving of the sentence or paying the fines for Drunken Driving (crime) to murder, nor any amount of misdemeanours that do not count against them making laws and policies that affect the law abiding citizens of Australia.
Previously, when a good citizen who has been singled out for this discrimination on their application for a firearm licence, has appealed, the Police have lost in court and been pulled into correction by the court or the Minister of Police and been forced to hand the applicant their licence.
Being found by a court, that their decisions in this manner is beyond the legislative powers given to them has obviously not sated the leaders of the weapons licencing who always need a bigger power trip, and bigger slice of the pie, the more employees in their department the larger their pay. So we are now confronted with Weapons Licencing Audit Report.
Please Read it and pass it about, even though its unpleasent.
This report has the word “Audit” but it does not audit the costings of the Weapons Licencing Branch per year and then isolate a few examples of where the Weapons Legislation has saved a life, or done any public service at all, then correlate those figures to show what that public safety has cost the tax payer. That would be an attempt at a proper Audit but we all know that is impossible. First they would not want to tell the public how much it was costing, or how much the parasites were bleeding out of the best of our law abiding citizens. Second they could not find any examples where the Weapons Legislation had saved a life or made any real perceived public benefit. So instead they instigate a report that calls for legislative changes to impose increased restrictions on law abiding citizens, screaming that they cannot keep up, appealing for more staff, money, more power that has to be paid for by those same people who are being discriminated against.
This report has been prepared by Weapons Licencing to seek more power, more money from innocent law abiding firearm owners. Please contact you local member of parliament and ask him to oppose this on your behalf, it may not stop him putting his hand up to vote for it, but remind him that if this is legislated to apply to firearm owners it could quickly lead to removing politicians from their jobs for speeding tickets or parking tickets.
We need to Attend to All Issues But this is the Greatest Threat to Our Way of Life.
We see on the news that China is on the Moon and returning with a payload. If they can send rockets to the moon is anywhere safe on earth. Australia has no Anti missile defence as yet.
A few weeks ago, the USA Pentagon released its annual China Military Power Report. The report contains facts that will unnerve US policymakers, defence officials and throw our Australian politicians into a great exodus to the South of France. China now has the world’s largest navy, is expanding its already massive and advanced missile arsenal, and has the capability to seize Taiwan’s outlying islands.
China has “marshalled the resources, technology, and political will over the past two decades to strengthen and modernise the PLA in nearly every respect,” the report states, adding that “China is already ahead of the United States in certain areas.”
This point is made clear in six maps below showing the positioning of PLA forces and ranges of its missiles.
The first map shows the locations of the headquarters of the PLA Ground Forces (identified in the report as the PLA Army or PLAA), as well as the general positions of their group armies.
The map shows their placement within the PLA’s five theatre commands: Northern, Central, Eastern, Southern, and Western. There are also two more military commands in China’s outlying provinces, Xinjiang and Tibet.
The report claims the PLA is the world’s largest standing ground force, with 915,000 active-duty personnel in 13 group armies, one of which is roughly the size of a US Army Corps 20,000 to 45,000 troops. A Group army is made up of 78 combined-arms brigades, each of which can have as many as 5,000 soldiers. The brigades are organised into three categories: heavy (tanks and tracked armoured vehicles), medium (wheeled armoured vehicles), and light (infantry, air assault, mountain, and motorised).
Interestingly, the map includes the PLA’s Airborne Corps, which is actually part of China’s air force. The Corps is made up of six airborne combined-arms brigades, at least one of which is mechanised with an air-droppable armoured infantry fighting vehicle, the ZBD-03.
People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN)
The next map focuses on the China’s Navy, the PLAN.
It is the largest navy in the world with 350 vessels, and is “largely composed of modern multi-role platforms featuring advanced anti-ship, anti-air, and anti-submarine weapons and sensors.”
The vessels are part of three fleets based in the PLA’s Northern, Eastern, and Southern theatres.
The map shows the makeup of all fleets, with the Eastern and Southern Fleets having the most vessels. The PLAN also includes six marine corps brigades and a small but growing air force.
Though the PLAN shows clear signs of global ambitions, its main focus is to dominate the areas along the First Island Chain, stretching from Kyushu to the waters around Vietnam. A major flashpoint along this route is Taiwan, which Beijing sees as a breakaway province.
It is believed that in the event of war with Taiwan, the ships of the Eastern and Southern theatres will be directly involved around the island, while Northern Theatre ships will protect sea approaches to China.
People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF)
Accordingly the report, the PLAAF, combined with the PLAN’s air wing, is the largest air force in the region and the third largest in the world. “The PLAAF is rapidly catching up to Western air forces across a broad range of capabilities and competencies,” the report notes. More than 800 of China’s 1,500 fighter jets are considered fourth-generation, on par with fighters in Western inventories. The PLAAF also has a stealth fighter in service and a stealth bomber in development.
The map shows the approximate locations of each of the PLAAF’s/PLAN Aviation theatre headquarters as well as multiple air bases. Importantly, it also shows which bases house the PLAAF’s bomber and transport division Hqs. Last October, China unveiled the H-6N bomber, its first nuclear-capable bomber able to conduct aerial refuelling. This marks the return of the airborne leg of China’s nuclear triad. With development of an air-launched nuclear ballistic missile possibly underway, China could soon have a complete and viable nuclear triad for the first time.
The map also notes special mission aircraft, which handle electronic warfare and aerial refuelling. They are important force-multipliers and are essential for a modern and dominant air force.
Most of China’s airbases are in the country’s south and east. Its airbases in the west are considerably far from India, limiting PLAAF capabilities in the tense region.
Chinese missile ranges
These maps show the devastating potential of what may be the PLA’s most important weapons: ballistic and cruise missiles. China has one of the world’s largest and most diverse missile arsenals.
The first missile map shows the range of China’s conventional missiles, almost all capable of reaching the Second Island Chain over 2,000 km away.
Particularly worrying are the DF-26 and DF-21. Both are mobile ground-launched intermediate-range ballistic missiles that are expected to target US carriers and their escort ships. The DF-26, which can carry conventional and nuclear warheads, is known as the “Guam killer” because of its ability to reach US bases in Guam.
H-6J bombers from the PLAAF, capable of carrying six YJ-12 anti-ship missiles, extend the PLA’s anti-ship capabilities even further.
The second missile map, depicting China’s ICBM ranges, is more daunting. It shows that China’s ICBMs can reach 1,750 km to 13,000 km. Well past Australia and the USA.
The CSS-4 Mod 2/Mod 3 (also known as the DF-5) and the DF-41 are especially feared. Both can reach almost all of the continental US, and the DF-41, unveiled for the first time last October, can carry up to 10 multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles, 10 warheads, each capable of hitting different targets, that are released when the missile reaches its apex.
This is a map of the Chinese bases in the South China Sea.
China is increasing its investment in missile technology. The report says that, in 2019, the PLA Rocket Force (PLARF) “launched more ballistic missiles for testing and training than the rest of the world combined.”
The final map shows the range of China’s anti-air, anti-ship, and short-range ballistic missiles as they relate to Taiwan. Nearly all of the island is covered from the mainland, and PLAN ships are more than capable of filling in any gaps.
There are still important differences in the quality and capabilities of Chinese troops and weapons in comparison to the US.
The US military has much more combat experience than the PLA (which hasn’t fought a major war since 1979) as well as powerful assets like dedicated carrier task groups. The US also has a number of allies in the region that it has worked with extensively but with Biden being President we have no Guarantee that he would commit US forces to save Taiwan or Australia. China has paid for the Democrat election campaigns for years.
These maps drive home the point of the report: China’s military is a massive and modern force that is only getting stronger, whilst our idiotic government, before anyone has been convicted of a crime in Afghanistan airs its washing on the world forum. Who would want to join our defence forces with these “Rubber Jellies” pretending to be our leaders at our backs.
Australia is a signatory to the Yamashita Standard, where after World War Two Japanese General Yamashita was held responsible for the War Crimes of his men, even though he was not in the same country at the time they were committed. He was convicted and hanged.
The Yamashita Standard states: “The highest ranking officer is accountable for, and should be prosecuted and convicted of the crimes of every officer and soldier under his command, even if he/she is unaware of that/the crime, or was aware and actually gave orders to stop it. Ignorance of the actions of his/her subordinates and failed attempts to stop them are not a defence.” This is international law and Australia is a signory to it.
Alister Pope states in his article.
“This is crystal clear. There is no room for Generals to excuse themselves through ignorance of the crimes, or even if they made vigorous, but failed attempts to stop them from occurring. In simple terms, if Private Thing is sentenced to 20-years for murder, then every rank above him right up to the General commanding the force is equally guilty and must automatically receive an equivalent sentence.” Please read yourselves on
If we are serious about honouring our Australian Soldiers – then please MAKE A STAND and SIGN THIS PETITION…..
We are in a big lot of trouble. We need a miracle to save Australia.
There is no Spring without Winter, without Mistakes there is no Learning. There is no Life without Death, without Doubts there is no Faith. There is no Peace without War, without Fear there is no Courage. For without Mistakes, Doubts and Fears there are no pathways to Wisdom.
